Kaufmann/-frau International Certificate

Niclas Schulz, Immobilienkaufmann, 2024 PDP Participant

I had the opportunity to engage with leading experts and guest speakers from renowned local real estate companies, gaining valuable insights into market dynamics and strategic challenges. The course also placed a strong emphasis on developing business English skills, which have greatly supported me not only in international contexts but also in professional communication in a foreign language.

Andreas Hochrein, Industriekaufmann, 2012 PDP participant

Attending the PDP programme at the ECBM in London was definitely one of the highlights during my apprenticeship. Our teachers were very enthusiastic and the classes extremely interesting. The material taught in the classroom, the field trips to different locations in London, and the stay at my very friendly host family helped me to understand the British culture and economy a lot better and to advance my English skills in a completely new way. Besides, my three-week stay in one of the most amazing cities on this planet was simply a lot of fun.

Arda Yildiz, Immobilienkauffrau, 2023 PDP Participant

Before completing my apprenticeship, I took part in the Professional Development Programme (PDP) at ECBM. The PDP gave me invaluable exposure to using English in an academic setting, further boosting my confidence to take on the International Bachelor’s programme. Joining the Bachelor’s programme has greatly improved my English- speaking skills, and further expand my professional skill set.

Don’t miss the chance to learn from native English-speaking teachers!

Lea-Sofie, Automobilkauffrau, 2023 PDP Participant

I signed up for the programme at my school and at the time didn't think I would even pass the course. I was never the best in English and had doubts about my abilities, but ECBM totally motivated me to start reading in English and my learning soon improved. After that, I slowly began to take on English customers at my job and even decided to work as an au pair for a year. Now people always tell me how good my English is, and for that I’d like to say a big thank you to ECBM!

Group Leader Testimonials

Jörg Blecher, EBZ Berufskolleg, Bochum

Educational excellence and cultural immersion have been cornerstones for our students taking part in the KIC programme at ECBM London for more than 15 years now. ECBM staff always have provided for a tailor-made learning environment, which effectively motivated our students to improve their professional and social skills alike. 400 students and counting . . .

Kathrin Munzert, BSBMIK München

The students improved their language abilities, learned a lot about the UK, enhanced their intercultural competences and gained a lot of self-confidence. We only had very positive feedback from the students. Also the course itself is very professionally organised by the ECBM team. I can highly recommend the cooperation with the ECBM.

Mark-Stefan Sieger, Berufliche Schule Am Lämmermarkt, Hamburg

Since 1997 we have been sending one or two classes to ECBM in London every year for joining a Business Professional Program. About 750 students have had good experiences there. Their stay in London is an absolute highlight in our training für Betreibswirt im Außenhandel (BiA).
For some years now, many students have been returning to ECBM after passing their exams at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce to complete their bachelor's degree. For us, the cooperation with ECBM has always been characterized by reliability and trust. We hope that we will be able to continue and expand this cooperation in the future.

Morton Schwarz, Bethmannschule, Frankfurt

A successful partnership has existed between the Bethmannschule in Frankfurt and the European College of Business and Management (ECBM) in London for 15 years now. This cooperation has proven to be a valuable asset for commercial training and has opened up international perspectives for numerous students. The "International Businessman" course is of particular importance. In this program, participants not only receive a sound commercial education, but also acquire international qualifications that optimally prepare them for a globalized working world. Thanks to this partnership, numerous graduates have been able to improve their career opportunities. With their commitment, the Bethmannschule and the ECBM have made an important contribution to the internationalization of commercial education - a success story that will continue in the future.
