The Higher National Diploma (HND) is a two-year programme designed for those seeking to gain a formal academic qualification whilst working, which can lead to entry into the final year of the Bachelor Degree programmes in Business and Management.

Programme Structure

The course is delivered in London and is structured to enable students to work and study at the same time. Students attend college for 3-4 days on a block-release basis in a month and the programme is delivered through a “blended learning” format.

Assessments are delivered via work-based assignments and examinations, and will additionally require students to complete assessments throughout the course to demonstrate their achievement.

Entry Requirements

  • For the duration of the programme, students must either be employed or undertake a suitable work placement.
  • Applicants should have A Levels or equivalents, as well as GCSE Mathematics and English at grade C or above.
  • Proficiency in the English language is required as the entire programme is delivered in English.

Graduation

Upon completion, students will receive the Higher National Diploma (HND) awarded by Pearson Edexcel, a leading institution for business education. Graduates have the opportunity to progress directly into the top-up BA (Hons) Business Management programme, awarded by the University of South Wales.
