Professional Development Programmes
Our Professional Development Programmes (PDP) are specifically designed for apprentices who aim to acquire an international module for their apprenticeship portfolio.
Professional Development Programme (PDP)
What is the Professional Development Programme?
The Professional Development Programme (PDP) is an intensive short course that is specially adapted to the needs of apprentices and is taught over a period of 2 to 3 weeks.
What areas does the PDP intensive course cover?
The modular system allows companies to choose from a wide range of different course contents to meet the needs of the respective industry. Our course graduates are, for instance, working in the fields of banking, customer service, international trade, business administration, marketing as well as fashion. Participants also receive interesting insights into the local life and culture. During the course, our PDP-participants live with British host families (the organisation is usually carried out by the ECBM). The language of instruction is English only.
Where does the PDP intensive course take place?
As a European education provider, we do not only offer our programme in London, but also want to ensure that a participation in other English-speaking regions provides the opportunity to apply for Erasmus Plus funding. In addition, we can offer parts of the programme flexibly as an online course. This summer, more than 100 apprentices successfully participated in such a hybrid version of the PDP course.
After finishing the PDP, apply for the "Kaufmann/-frau International Certificate"!
Completing our PDP intensive course successfully, enables you to be awarded the Kaufmann/-frau International Certificate (KIC), which is accredited by the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK). The qualification is awarded by the German-British Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK UK).
