With the Wirtschaftsfachwirt you can achieve an additional international qualification, in English, that is recognised in Germany.

The IHK-Akademie Koblenz and ECBM have combined to offer a part-time programme which is taught entirely in English and can be completed in only 18 months!

This programme is truly ‘berufsbegleitend’ so that you can efficiently study and work at the same time.

It can also be the first step to a Masters qualification if you wish to proceed further.

Programme delivery

Delivery of the study seminars is in the English language, but all course material is in German. The exams are the official state approved exams in German, but there is an additional international certificate exam, in English, which you can take as well.

The unique mix of different learning styles, called Blended Learning, is a modern form of teaching that combines e-learning, self-study and intensive in-class teaching seminars, aimed at professionals with limited time. The weekend seminars are learning opportunities that review and help you discuss the topics on the course.

The seven weekend seminars (13 days overall) take place in Koblenz and in London.
